StoryBus is part of a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please know that StoryBus never releases our supporter information, including mail and e-mail addresses, to other organizations.
Sponsor a book in a StoryBus classroom. We give five multicultural versions of our focus story to the classrooms we visit. You can sponsor one of those books!
Our program costs about $20 per child, including the curriculum and training for the teachers. Sponsor one child, and when he have enough people like you sponsoring a child, we'll bring the StoryBus to a school that couldn't otherwise afford it!
We'll bring the StoryBus program to any school in Cook County, Illinois, on your behalf! The pre-k and kindergarten teachers will receive a copy of our curriculum, and be trained by the Erikson Institute in the implementation of it. They'll receive a mini library of storybooks for their classroom, be visited by our StoryBus storyteller, and then be visited by the StoryBus!
