Pre-K and Kindergarten children across Chicagoland eagerly anticipate the arrival of the Kohl McCormick StoryBus during the year. Our 37-foot-long children’s museum on wheels is a thrilling way for children to interact with books—they are literally transported to the setting of their favorite storybooks! They can bake bread in the Little Red Hen’s kitchen, build a brick house for the Three Little Pigs, or rest in the bed of the Three Bears.
Imagine how much fun your youngest campers will have when the StoryBus rolls into your camp! It’s like a fieldtrip, but the children don’t need to leave: the museum comes to them! And along with the StoryBus, our trained staff of storytellers will come in and entertain the campers with renditions their favorite classic fables.
